MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WSVN) — Police are investigating after a shooting took place in a Miami Gardens park.
Miami-Dade Police and Miami Gardens Police are on the scene of Northwest 177th Street and 15th Court. 7SkyforceHD captured Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials talking to a young woman seated inside the back of a Miami-Dade police car.
According to a source, the incident may have begun as a police chase of a potentially a stolen car in the area of Northwest Seventh Avenue and 173rd Street.
Moments later, the suspects in the car bailed out and abandoned the car. It is unclear if that scene is related to the scene of the shooting.
According to a source, the victim in the case only suffered superficial wounds.
