Two armed robberies in Hollywood, on Sunday and Monday, may be connected, according to investigators.

Hollywood Police said a man with a knife approached attendants at two different stores, Sunday and Monday, and demanded cash. The first crime occurred at a Marathon gas station on Johnson Street, off of Interstate 95, and the second at a Quick Stop Store, near North Dixie Highway and Sheridan Street. Police said he stole about $200 each time.

Police described the man as white, with white facial hair, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall and 200 pounds. According to police, he wore a white baseball hat in both cases and fled the Marathon gas station in a gray Toyota or Lincoln. It is unknown whether a vehicle was used in the second robbery.
