MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. (WSVN) - Miami-Dade and Miami Gardens police have detained a man who allegedly made threats that he was in possession of a detonating device.
According to police, the man made a threat to police that he had a device that could trigger an explosion, Friday morning.
Officials had to shutdown traffic in Miami Gardens at 183rd Street from Sixth Avenue all the way to Northeast Second Avenue.
The east and westbound directions of travel on this roadway were closed as the investigation continued, but the road has since reopened.
