MIAMI (WSVN) - Another suspect accused of helping an inmate escape a courthouse has been arrested, and the reward has been increased for information leading to the capture of the inmate.

Police arrested the fifth suspect, 22-year-old Walter Hart, Wednesday. Meanwhile, the reward leading to 21-year-old Dayont’e Resiles’ capture has been increased to $50,000.

“Right now, everything is on the table,” said Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel. “Nothing has been eliminated, and everything is on the table.”

Investigators identified Hart as a fellow inmate of the 21-year-old, who, last Friday, ran out of a Broward County courthouse, slipped through a police perimeter and has not been seen since.

According to police, as both of the men were in a holding room, prior to entering a courtroom, Hart helped Resiles out of his handcuffs before they both entered the courtroom, which Resiles ran out of to meet a getaway driver outside.

“It’s disappointing, but right now, my whole focus is on locating him and arresting him,” Israel said.

Prior to Hart’s arrest, four people were arrested over the weekend for helping Resiles escape. They are identified as 17-year-old Kreton Barnes, 17-year-old Trevon Barnes, 22-year-old Winston Russell Jr. and 18-year-old Laquay Stern.

Hart was in custody for second-degree murder. All five people have now also been charged with capital murder. Israel expects more to face the same charge. “The fact that Resiles remains at large today tells me that there are more people aiding and abetting him in his escape,” Israel said.

Resiles was awaiting trial in the murder of 59-year-old Davie resident Jill Su, a wife and mother of two, who was killed inside her home back in 2014. He was expected to face the death penalty.

Now, Resiles remains on the loose and is considered armed and dangerous. The Sheriff said the search for him won’t stop until he’s found. “If we develop probable cause that anyone anywhere assisted him in any way,” Israel said, “they will be charged with aiding and abetting murder.”

If you have any information on Resiles’ location, call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for the $50,000 reward.
