WESTON, Fla. (WSVN) — Surveillance video has been released that police hope will help catch those responsible in a number of car burglaries in Weston.

According to officials, eight vehicles were burglarized between July 25 and 26 in a Weston neighborhood by two suspects. The string of burglaries began when one suspect entered a Nissan Altima and stole money.

In the surveillance video, one of the suspects could be seen turning on the Altima’s interior light.

The second suspect climbed into an Audi TT, the victim’s second vehicle. Nothing was taken from the Audi, police said.

Both suspects went on to break into six other nearby vehicles.

According to police, the duo successfully stole an Apple MacBook Pro, Pioneer headphones and an Invicta watch. Other victims reported that only their personal papers were mangled.

All of the vehicles were found to be unlocked prior to the burglaries.

One of the male suspects was seen wearing dark clothing, police said, and the second suspect had a red shirt wrapped around his face.

If you have any information on these burglaries, call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a $3,000 reward.
