DAVIE, FLA. (WSVN) - Police are investigating after, they said, a man was struck and killed by a driver who stayed on the scene, Friday night.
Davie Police responded to the scene of the accident off Stirling Road and University Drive, near Saint Bernadette Catholic Church. Investigators said the pedestrian was crossing the road when he was hit by a black pickup truck heading eastbound.
Police said the victim died at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
