DAVIE, FLA. (WSVN) - According to Davie Police, a woman tried to cross the street at North University Drive and Davie Road Extension, Wednesday morning, when she was struck by a truck.
The victim died at the scene. Officials have not yet released her identity.
The driver remained on the scene, police said.
Officials are investigating the accident, which caused minor traffic delays.
