CORAL SPRINGS, FLA. (WSVN) - A Coral Springs restaurant, which police said, served alcohol to a minor during a staging operation will not be fined.

Instead, business regulators said Tijuana Taxi Company, will be closely monitored.

The restaurant, located along University Drive and Atlantic Boulevard, is the same place where then 20-year-old Kayla Mendoza had been drinking before a deadly wrong-way crash.

On Nov. 16, 2013, police said, Mendoza drove the wrong way on the Sawgrass Expressway and then slammed head-on into Maria Catronio and Kaitlyn Ferrante, both 21. Both victims were killed.

Mendoza is now serving a sentence of 24 years in prison.
