OAKLAND PARK, FLA. (WSVN) - A South Florida family received the keys to their new home, Tuesday morning, and it was all thanks to Habitat for Humanity.

The nonprofit organization held a dedication ceremony for Cherika Moffett and her family at the new residence, located along the 900 block of Northeast 58th Street, in Oakland Park.

The family told 7News they’re thankful to all the people who made it all possible. “It’s been a blessing to have everyone that helped — volunteers, the Habitat staff, everyone,” said Moffett. “Most importantly, God, that put it in their hearts to come and help us.”
