MIAMI (WSVN) - Miami Police have just released surveillance video of armed crooks who robbed a South Florida catering business in Little Haiti on the Fourth of July.

According to detectives, at around 4 p.m. assistant manager Ignacio Pena was working at a catering company near Philly Grub, located at 99 N.W. 54th St., in Miami, in the kitchen with a friend when two unknown men entered the kitchen through a rear entrance. One of the two suspects was armed, police said.

The armed man held the victim at gunpoint, telling Pena to not move. The other suspect held on to the assistant manager’s friend to prevent him from fleeing.

“Like, they just surprised me,” said Pena. “They just came in with a gun in their hands, and there was another guy right here that just watched. They put the gun in their hands first, and after, they came to me and put it to my head. They take everything from me.”

The suspects fled the scene, but not after taking the victim’s jewelry, cell phone and wallet. However, they were captured on surveillance using the victim’s bank card at the CVS Pharmacy, located at 4800 Biscayne Blvd., on the same day.

Police said the first suspect is believed to be 17 to 19 years old, a black male and standing between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 7 inches. He was last seen wearing a red hoodie, dark blue sweatpants with a Junior Reserve Officer Training Corporation logo.

The second suspect could be between 15 to 16 years old, also a black male and standing between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 6 inches. He is clean shaven, with a small Afro and was last seen wearing a white tank top and red and black basketball shorts.

If you have any information on these two suspects, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a $1,000 reward.
