DORAL, FLA. (WSVN) - A new charter school opened its doors in Doral just in time for the start of school.
Doral International Math and Science Academy opened its doors for the first time, Monday morning.
The charter school, located on Northwest 67th Street and 104th Avenue, is managed by Charter School Associates, which runs 26 other charter schools in the state.
“Our team wants nothing more than kids to wake up Monday morning to be super excited to come to school,”said Principal Victoria Gomez. “We really want to keep that going all the way to the last day of school, so when they go on summer break they say, ‘I can’t wait ’til next year.'”
