DAVIE, FLA. (WSVN) - A South Florida mother was charged with child neglect after, police said, she left her three children unattended in the parking lot of a supermarket in Davie.
Thirty-four-year-old Marialie Sainville was released from jail on Sunday after spending a night behind bars.
According to Davie Police, the suspect ran into the Publix along Stirling Road and Southwest 61st Avenue, on Saturday, and left her children — ages 1 ,3 and 6 — alone inside her car. Investigators said she was inside for about four minutes before someone spotted the children in the vehicle and called 911.
Sainville’s children have since been placed with a relative.
