Missing child alert issued for North Florida girl

QUINCY, Fla. (WSVN) — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a missing child alert for an 11-year-old girl who went missing in the Florida Panhandle, Friday.

Officials said Emily Gatica was last seen along the 200 block of Rentz Road in the city of Quincy, in Gadsden County.

Emily stands 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighs about 100 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. She was carrying a black backpack and was last seen wearing a white polo shirt and khaki pants.
