SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - The Michael Fux Foundation held a holiday party for select children of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, Saturday.
A host of celebrities were present for the event. Among those bringing holiday cheer: Dan Marino, Alonzo Mourning and Nickelodeon star Liz Elias.
Santa Claus was also there, played by Michaelk Fux himself. “These children are having a tough time, it’s probably the best day they’ll have all year,” he said. “That alone makes it worth it. This is the 11th year. My wife helps me and I love doing it.”
Besides giving away presents — the party featured games, face painting, and arts and crafts.
