A suspect wanted by police has surrendered to police after he barricaded himself in a South Florida home.
The suspect has been identified as Christopher Robert Pellegrino.
He is being charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
Miramar Police arrived to the scene on the 6200 block of Southwest 20th Street, Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, when they were surveilling a suspect wanted for aggravated assault, the man ran into the home and barricaded himself.
SWAT Team units also responded to the scene, and eventually the suspect exited the home with his hands up.
Police cuffed him and put him in the back of a police cruiser.
