SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - Miami-Dade Police are investigating a shooting involving a 16-year-old boy in Southwest Miami-Dade.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the incident near Graham Drive and Pierce Street at around 11:13 a.m., Wednesday.

Police said the call for the shooting came in at 14790 Buchanan St.

7SkyForce HD flew over the scene where police vehicles blocked off the street.

According to police, the 16-year-old was shot in the upper torso.

The teen was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center as a trauma alert, but he is expected to be OK.

Police are searching for two males who left the scene on their bikes.
