(WSVN) — There are now more than 14,700 cases of the coronavirus in Florida, with 296 deaths.

As of 6 p.m., Tuesday, the Florida Department of Health reported 14,747 confirmed cases in the state. Of these cases, 14,302 are Florida residents and 445 are non-residents.

There are 5,126 confirmed cases in Miami-Dade and 2,230 cases in Broward.

The total number of cases in Palm Beach County reached 1,159, and 49 cases have been reported in Monroe County.
