MIAMI (WSVN) - Miami-Dade College students were given a world of opportunity at the FIFA job fair Tuesday.

FIFA and MDC hosted panels at the Wolfson Campus to answer questions about the interview process and help with resumes.

The international soccer organization said it plans to hire up to 50 full-time interns to work across many areas in the leadup to the FIFA World Cup.

FIFA says many of those internships will be based in Miami, with other roles in other host cities.

Students also had the chance to hear from former students who had previously interned with FIFA in Miami.

“It’s a global event, so the fact that you’re getting to know a lot of people outside in different cultures and knowing how broad it is and how big we are, and we had a little idea with the Club and it was just an excitement to see all the back part of it, it was just exciting,” said FIFA intern Edith Navarro.

Internships currently include government relations, logistics, competition management and media operations.
