MIAMI (WSVN) - A fatal accident has led to road closures on Northwest Seventh Avenue between Northwest 14th Street and Northwest 13th Street.
City of Miami Police promptly responded to the scene and began to close off the streets to canvas the area for evidence.
A preliminary investigation revealed the rider of the scooter possibly lost control and crashed, police say.
According to police, the operator of the scooter was a Hispanic male in his 30s who succumbed to his injuries.
7Skyforce showed aerial footage of the scene where the body was covered with a tarp and the scooter further down the street.
Details are limited as the investigation is ongoing.
