NORTH MIAMI, FLA. (WSVN) - Crews battled fierce flames after a fire sparked overnight at a home in North Miami.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units responded to the scene of the blaze in the area of Northeast 12th Place and 122nd Terrace, just before 5 a.m. on Monday.
Firefighters were seen entering the home through the roof, where light smoke was pouring out.
Area resident Allen Joseph said he was stunned to see the commotion.
“I came here, and I’m like, ‘Oh, my gosh,’ and all these fire trucks are here. I don’t know what happened, if it was electric, what caused the fire to happen. I just hope that everybody’s safe,” said Joseph.
It’s unclear what sparked the blaze.
No injuries were reported.
