OPA-LOCKA, FLA. (WSVN) - Fire crews got the upper hand on a junkyard fire tat sarked in Opa-locka.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units were dispatched to the scene of the two-alarm structure fire in the area of Northwest 128th Street and Cairo Lane, Thursday night.

7News cameras captured heavy black smoke coming from inside the junkyard and a ladder truck spraying water from above.

Friday morning, 7Skyforce captured the aftermath, as cleanup crews worked to remove debris from the spot where the fire ignited.

An investigation is underway into how the blaze started.
