SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - A tragedy took place on the water in Southwest Miami-Dade.
One person is dead after a personal watercraft accident, Friday.
Police responded to a murky canal along Southwest 85th Street and 77th Avenue.
According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, preliminary findings indicate that the operator of the watercraft may have struck their head on the underside of a low bridge and was ejected.
The operator was pronounced dead on the scene.
