MIAMI BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - A Miami Beach teacher accused of child abuse entered a plea of not guilty, Friday.
A lawyer appeared on behalf of 58-year-old Clara Luz Quintero-Gonzales and entered her plea. She has been charged with child abuse and child neglect.
Police said she struck a 2-year-old and a 3-year student at Lincoln Marti Day Care, on Jefferson Avenue and 17th Street.
Police said they took Quintero-Gonzales into custody after she was caught on surveillance video hitting several toddlers.
