MIAMI BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - In honor of the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, Miami Beach Police and Fire Rescue held a flag retirement ceremony.

The departments retired battered and tattered flags, Wednesday.

The flags were given to 25 veterans, with one going to 94-year-old Gordon Read. Read was there the day that the Japanese attacked the naval base in Pearl Harbor.
