LAUDERDALE LAKES, FLA. (WSVN) - A masked thief went on a crime spree in Lauderdale Lakes, terrorizing victims at several locations.

According to police, the suspect, who was wearing a mask and carried a shotgun held a couple at gunpoint and tried to take their keys at a gas station, near North State Road 7 and 44th Street, on July 28.

Just minutes later, detectives believe the same crook robbed a man at a Bank of America, on Oakland Park Boulevard.

Officers are now trying to track down the suspect’s getaway car, which they have identified as a Toyota Corolla, possibly silver in color.
