ELLIOT KEY, Fla. (WSVN) — A sailor took a trip to the hospital after he fell down a flight of stairs.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to an emergency call from a 44-foot sailboat in open water near Elliot Key, Thursday.
Paramedics said the victim suffered serious injuries.
An air rescue team flew the sailor to a nearby trauma center for treatment. His condition is unknown.
