LAUDERHILL, FLA. (WSVN) - An employee at a Lauderhill gas station had to be freed after his hand got stuck in a safe, Friday.

Crews were called to the Shell gas station along West Commercial Boulevard and 70th Avenue to free the employee. It took two and a half hours before crews were finally successful.

Rescuers said three of the man’s fingers were injured. He was later taken to Broward Health Medical center.
