MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) — A Miami Beach man accused of kidnapping, beating and raping a tourist says authorities arrested the wrong person.

Local news outlets report that 25-year-old Casey Terrell Miller was arrested Tuesday after police executed a search warrant. He faces charges including sexual battery with serious personal injury and kidnapping with a weapon.

The attorney representing Miller said in court Wednesday that the victim incorrectly picked Miller out of a photo lineup.

The woman says she was walking to a hotel Monday when she was approached by Miller. She says she agreed to have a drink with him and later ended up at Miller’s apartment, where she says the assault took place.

Miller is being held without bond.
