MIAMI (WSVN) - A South Florida man accused of shooting a family inside a home, killing a mother and two of her children, has been located in Savannah, Georgia and taken into custody.
According to Miami-Dade Police, 32-year-old Antwon Lamar Fair was located in Savannah, Georgia Wednesday afternoon and has been taken into custody.
Police said Fair opened fire on a family inside of their Southwest Miami-Dade home. He killed a woman and two of her teenage children, and sent her 12-year-old son to the hospital, early Sunday.
Family members told 7News Fair was the woman’s boyfriend.
Miami-Dade Police received a call, Sunday, at 3:47 a.m. about a shooting at a home near Southwest 115th Avenue and 203rd Terrace. Upon arriving, they discovered 39-year-old Takeeya Fulton, a mother of six, and 19-year-old Nuckeria Harris, her daughter, dead inside the home.
Two other victims, the mother’s 17-year-old son, Corey Johnson, and her 12-year-old son, were found alive. They were taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center, where Johnson later died and his younger brother remains in stable condition.
Investigators said the 12-year-old sustained two gunshot wounds to the right chest.
