OAKLAND PARK, FLA. (WSVN) - A man arrested in connection to a beating and carjacking a South Florida who was out feeding cats appeared before a judge.

Antonio Romano, 28, appeared in bond court in Fort Lauderdale after he was found and arrested in Port St. Lucie.

He’s accused of beating and robbing Maria Ouveryney while she was feeding cats in Oakland Park on Jan. 17.
