SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - People from across South Florida laced up to keep some special children’s wishes coming true.
The 2016 Walk for Wishes 5K took place at Zoo Miami, Sunday. Hundreds of people gathered to raise money for children facing life-threatening medical conditions.
The event was hosted by 7’s own Alex de Armas.
The $70,000 raised will go to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
