MIAMI (WSVN) - A local girl earned a seat along side 55 other kids and enjoyed a meal with First Lady Michelle Obama.
Twelve-year-old Olivia LaRochelle of Kendall took part in Michelle Obama’s annual Kids’ State Dinner.
It’s LaRochelle’s second year entering the Healthy Lunchtime Challenge with her mother, and this time, her Bountiful Florida Fish BFF Cakes proved to be victorious.
Celebrity chef Rachel Ray was also present at the lunch.
The nationwide contest promotes healthy cooking and eating. It’s all part of he first lady’s Let’s Move! initiative, to help families live healthier lives.
