SWEETWATER, Fla. (WSVN) — A South Florida man is offering up some holiday help to families in need.
Luis Valdeon of the Miami-Dade Foreclosure List teamed up with the City of Sweetwater to hand out 500 turkeys, Saturday.
Valdeon said it’s just something that must be done to help those who need a little assistance around the holidays. “There’s a lot of people here who are really needy, and I only find places that really need, not just people coming in in Mercedes or Cadillacs,” he said. “These are people who are really hurt, and really need [the help].”
This is Valdeon’s 10th year giving away turkeys around South Florida.
