HALLANDALE BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - Hallandale Beach Fire Rescue crews were on the scene of a gas leak along Federal Highway, for the second time in a week.
According to fire rescue crews, a natural gas leak was reported along the 900 block of South Federal Highway, near the Gulfstream Park complex.
South Federal Highway was closed in both directions, between Southeast Third Street to the Miami-Dade/Broward county line.
Two hazardous materials teams were on scene working to cap the leak along Ninth Street, while some evacuations were set in place around the neighborhood.
The leak was capped around 10:30 p.m. by fire rescue crews.
No injuries were reported.
