SOUTHWEST RANCHES, Fla. (WSVN) — Investigators are tracking down the thieves who were caught on camera taking several items from a plant nursery, Friday.
An employee of Real Green Plant Nursery, located off of Southwest 185th Way in Southwest Ranches, said the business was hit twice in one day.
According to business owner Kenley Pierre, surveillance caught the thieves as they stole a truck, machines and trailer, early Friday morning. Pierre said that the crooks came back an hour later and took other items from the nursery ranging in losses of about $100,000.
“When I saw the video, I was like, ‘Woah,'” Pierre said. “It’s hard to believe they would do something like that.”
The subjects accessed the property by cutting the lock on the front gate.
Pierre is angry after working hard to build his business. “I work a lot of years to buy this piece of equipment,” he said. “I won’t be able to replace it overnight.”
