TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (WSVN) - A Florida State University research team may have discovered a breakthrough in the search for a cure for Zika.
The team made the discovery that certain existing drugs can help stop the virus from reproducing in the body and damaging brain cells in newborns.
They are continuing to run tests to help determine a specific treatment regimen.
