DORAL, FLA. (WSVN) - A man was arrested last Monday after molesting a young girl and prosecutors are worried there may be other victims.
A girl came forward and said she was molested by a medical assistant when she was under 11 years old.
Her mother filed a police report on Oct. 17, telling police the attacks took place when her daughter was between the ages of 8 and 11 years old.
Police began investigating the situation and arrested Mauricio Bautista, a former medical assistant at the Endocrinology Medical Service.
Investigators said Bautista admitted to the crimes and currently faces charges.
There is a fear that there may be more victims, said Doral Police Capt. Carlos Arango. “If there are any other victims out here from this individual who went through the same experience, they can step up,” said Arango. “You can come to our office. This is all done in private. This is all done very discretely. We hope that nobody went through this experience.”
As police believe there may be other victims, they ask anyone who may have had a similar experience with Bautista to contact the Doral Police Department at (305) 593-6699.
