SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - After nearly a year of shutting its doors to students and asking employees to work remotely, Florida International University is asking employees to come back to campus starting Monday.

FIU President Mark Rosenberg emailed faculty and staff last week that strongly suggested they begin the return to campus to ensure the success of students and the university.

The campus comeback will affect nearly 10,000 employees.

Students will continue with remote learning through the spring semester.
