PLANTATION, FLA. (WSVN) - Firefighters resuscitated a dog that was overcome by smoke while trapped inside an apartment fire in Plantation, Tuesday.
The Plantation Fire Department responded to an apartment complex at 1601 N.W. 108th Ave., where smoke was seen billowing out of an apartment on the first floor.
Nobody was inside, but a dog was. Firefighters gave the dog oxygen, and it is expected to be OK.
The code 1 fire was put out after a brief time.
