SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - Dashboard camera captured a good Samaritan rescuing a woman from her car following a violent car crash, Tuesday.

Che Moreno was sitting at a red light on Southwest 26th Street and 147th Avenue when two cars collided in the intersection. His camera captured the entire ordeal.

“We saw a car get T-boned right in front of us,” Moreno said.

The camera captured what Moreno, a martial arts trainer, didn’t expect to see on his way to his fighting academy.

“Miami is not the best for traffic and situations like that, so I have a camera mounted onto my rear view mirror just for any situation like this,” Moreno said. “As soon as you turn the car on, it’ll start recording, and when you turn the car off, it’ll turn off.”

The camera shows Moreno exiting his car to check on the driver of the blue car.

“I broke the door open and then I asked her if she needed some help and she couldn’t really talk,” Moreno said. “The fact that she had her seat belt on, I think it helped her out from from not getting further hurt.”

The impact of the car crushed the passenger side of the car.

“I saw the smash and then I saw the car reversing and I just thought the person could use some help,” Moreno said.

The driver of the vehicle that was hit was leaving work at the CVS on the corner of the intersection when crash occurred.
