OPA-LOCKA, FLA. (WSVN) - A dachshund is recovering at a South Florida hospital after being injured and abandoned on the side of an Opa-locka road.

The dachshund, named Miracle, is being fed with a syringe and has started to move around and breathe on her own.

Miracle was found in a cage along by the road suffering from a fractured skull.

Vets believe Miracle was struck by a car.
