PLANTATION, FLA. (WSVN) - Firefighters extinguished a car fire in Plantation, Saturday.
Authorities tweeted out images of the flames.

Crews put out the fire in the middle of the street, near South University Drive and Peters Road.
Officials said the blaze began in the engine, before spreading to the rest of the car.
The driver was able to make it out safely.
