Companies look to fill over 2,000 positions at South Florida mega job fair

MIAMI LAKES, FLA. (WSVN) - Print your resumes because over 25 renowned companies are hoping to fill over 2,000 positions at a mega job fair, Tuesday.

Job News Miami is hosting the fair this Tuesday at Don Shula’s Hotel, located at 6842 Main St., in Miami Lakes.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., South Florida residents are encouraged to register and stop by the event, which is sponsored by ALDI, Miami Heat, Miami Dolphins and Service Corporation International.

Some of the companies in attendance will be the Miami Heat, the Miami Dolphins, Carnival Cruise Lines, Orkin, Beauty Schools of America, ITT Tech, NY Life, Convey Health, Domino’s, Kent Services, Leibherr, Century 21 Department Stores and more.

In order to attend the event, visitors must pre-register online at and bring a printed copy of this registration page to the event. In addition to dressing their best, visitors must update their resume and bring at least 30 copies of it to have on hand.

As a tip, Job News Miami advises people to do their research on the companies hiring before attending. Also, keep in mind that food, drinks and contraband are prohibited once inside the venue.

Unfortunately, NO children are allowed into the event. It is advised that job-seekers arrange for childcare or a baby sitter before attending.
