LAUDERHILL, FLA. (WSVN) - A South Florida festival celebrated Caribbean heritage, Sunday afternoon.

Crowds showed up for Caribbean Village at the Lauderhill Sports Park this afternoon. The annual event, sponsored by The Galleon Foundation, brought families out for a day of Caribbean-themed fun and entertainment for people of all ages.

The community outreach event, which celebrates Caribbean American Heritage Month, featured a parade, a swimwear competition and a free concert by several Caribbean artists, including Kevin Lyttle and Marcia Griffiths.
