NORTHEAST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to reports that a car had crashed into a home in Northeast Miami-Dade, early Saturday morning.

The car crashed into the living room of the home, located on Northwest 205th Street and 14th Avenue, just before 2:30 a.m.

Paramedics took one woman away on a stretcher. According to neighbors, she was the driver.

The man who lives in the home was awakened by the crash.

“Well, I was sleeping, and all of a sudden I heard the noise — a band noise, and I thought it was some robbers or somebody broke in. And I woke up and I got out and I see my living room — it was all smashed up,” said homeowner Akeerali Dhaya.

The car left a large hole in the front wall of the house.
