WEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - Surveillance footage at a West Miami-Dade school’s parking lot caught a man smashing the window of a car and taking a woman’s purse.
The man is seen peeking into the backseat and smashing the window of a car parked at Somerset Academy’s West Campus on Southwest 16th Street and 59th Avenue, around 2 p.m., Aug. 15. He then took off in a car with a woman’s purse containing her wallet and glasses.
Police said the thief has struck before, and they’re concerned he will strike again.
