COCONUT CREEK, FLA. (WSVN) - Police are searching for a group of men who, they said, broke into three homes in Coconut Creek, early Sunday morning.

Surveillance video from a doorbell camera captured the perpetrators as they broke into one of the homes, located near Northwest 45th Avenue and 60th Court, at around 4:30 a.m.

Detectives said all the homes were equipped with front door electronic keypad lock systems. The footage shows the thieves testing the sensors before entering.

Police said they managed to take several items while the homeowners were sleeping.

Investigators said two of the suspects appear to be in their early 20s and the third appears to be in his late teens. One of them has a tattoo on his upper chest.
