FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) - Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel sent a 3-year-old Massachusetts girl a message of inspiration after she dressed up like a K-9 handler for a local event.
The young girl was ridiculed by friends for not dressing up like a princess or superhero, but Sheriff Israel, along with some of his fellow K-9 handler friends sent the young girl a message.
Two Massachusetts State Troopers also visited the girl’s school to tell the class that girls can grow up to be whatever they want.
