POMPANO BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies were on the scene of a deputy-involved shooting in Pompano Beach, Friday night.
BSO responded to the scene of the shooting in the area of Northwest Third Avenue and 14th Street, near Dixie Highway.
Investigators said two deputies opened fire on a man who was carrying a knife. The man died at the scene. No others injuries were reported.
Authorities said both deputies are on administrative leave as they continue the investigation.
