FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) - City commissioners in Fort Lauderdale are set to hold a major meeting Wednesday, where they’ll discuss a letter from the Florida Department of Transportation sent to city leaders, last week.

The letter demanded all crosswalks with pride markings be removed by next week or lose state funding.

It comes amid a statewide crackdown on those rainbow colored crossings which has protesters speaking out against the ban

The meeting is set for 6 p.m.
